What do works of art and objects from Medieval and Renaissance Europe tell us about the time and place they were made? Students will:

  • Discuss how social, historical and cultural factors reflected and influenced art during the medieval and Renaissance periods.
  • Compare and contrast examples of works by medieval and Renaissance artists.
