Introduction to Cats & Dogs

Meet some four-legged friends in the exhibition Cats & Dogs at the NGV! Join an NGV educator to discover different ways cats and dogs have been represented in art and design throughout history and across different cultures. This introduction to the exhibition is designed to stimulate curiosity and imagination and to encourage students to reflect on the personal and cultural significance of cats and dogs. The program will be tailored to the specific level of the students.

Students will:

  • Identify and discuss different ways artists and designers explore ideas and express meaning in their work.
  • Express personal ideas, observations and interpretations in response to works of art and design in Cats & Dogs.

Duration: 1 hour
Cost: $18.50 per student
